VENDORS/DEALERS: How to choose the right one!

My primary advice here is BEFORE you give your hard-earned money to a dealer or vendor of any type, find out WHO THEY SPONSOR (or don't sponsor). Below you'll read about how FORD is giving millions to anti-access folks. I won't buy a FORD again, right now. On the other hand, you'll see many places in our enthusiasts newsletters where vendors and dealers are VERY supportive of our efforts. BUY FROM THEM.

BE SURE TO SUPPORT THE FOLKS WHO SPONSOR ME, AS THESE MANUFACTURERS/VENDORS HAVE REALLY STEPPED UP TO THE PLATE TO FINANCE BLUERIBBON SO THEY CAN HELP ME KEEP OUR TRAILS OPEN NATIONWIDE. THEY DESERVE A THOROUGH CONSIDERATION FROM ALL OF US WHO RIDE, WHEEL, SNOWMOBILE, SAND-DUNE IT AND ATV.

SO BE SURE TO SUPPORT THE FOLKS WHO SUPPORT US.

ON THE OTHER HAND, DO NOT SUPPORT THE FOLKS WHO PURPOSELY MAKE OUR FIGHT FOR ACCESS HARDER.

You can get financial reports on the Internet on about any public company.  You can ask your statewide or Regional organization about who's the good, bad and ugly. The BlueRibbon Coalition can help you also (get on their Action Alert List or stay in touch with their web site). Most all big groups have a no-no list. Find out before you buy.

FORD:

Ford/Chevy/Dodge/Jeep/Toyota etc.:
What!?? Do I look stupid??? I'm not going here. But I will recommend one thing: find out who's supporting the folks who want to close down our public lands to motorized access BEFORE YOU BUY.

And CONTACT ME BEFORE you buy a new or used Jeep if you want some expert, gray hair advice. Yes, believe it or not, some manufacturers of off highway vehicles actually support (give money) to organizations that want to shut us out of public lands -- maybe unknowingly in a very few cases. But nonetheless, get on the email networks/lists and see who the good, bad and ugly are BEFORE you give them your money.

Where is a good place on the Internet to get vehicle specific information?
