Mendocino Coast: Kayak Rentals and Tours with Liquid Fusion Kayaks
Stacie and I took our first ever kayak tour with Liquid Fusion Kayaking on the Noyo River. They called it a "meander" and we must say, it was all of that and much more. We were entralled by the wildlife, the narration by the owners, and the marvelous serenity of a kayak, not to mention the closeness to the water. It was a true treat.
Stacie and I were in a two-person boat and we had a ball. See pics of us and our tour on the Liquid Fusion Kayaking website here:
Do not be afraid to try a kayak trip if you've never done one (like Stacie and I). It is very safe. The boats are stable and Jeff and Cate will ensure you have a good time and not even get your camera wet. On the other hand, if you'd like to surf a kayak in white water ocean waves, or get some sea caves under your belt, Liquid Fusion is the place to start.
Located at Dolphin Island Marina, Noyo's South Harbor in Ft. Bragg, Liquid Fusion has boat access by dock and by beach. You have choices. Cate is quite the birder as well and you'll learn a lot about wildlife and nature on your tour. She and Jeff both have blogs about the ocean, Mendocino, Ft. Bragg and the marvelous sport of kayaking.
