RUBICON TRAIL: BOOKS & MAPS
Know Before You Go
tips for getting Rubicon ready

The best book I've found for the Rubicon Trail (and Tahoe trails in general) is by William C. Teie, Deer Valley Press, called 4Wheelers Guide to the Rubicon.

You can get it several places, but here's an easy link to one of our supporters: http://www.rockytrail.com/4xBooks.html

MAPS

If you want to build your own laminated map (very nice, I might add) of this area, trail or any other area, I recommend www.mytopo.com. They're great to work with and you can have your map customized.

Bill Teie's book has good maps in it also.
