Powertank Continues to Support Access (and Del)
Del Albright (R) representing Steve Sasaki from Powertank, hands over a donated Powertank to Dennis Mayer (L), Treasurer, Rubicon Trail Foundation, Member Friends of the Rubicon, and long standing member of the Auburn Jeep Club.    Steve donated a new Powertank to Del (yellow one in rear) and Del's previously owned tank gets passed on to Dennis for his exemplary work in helping to keep the Rubicon Trail alive and well.  (Photo by Doug Barr)

Powertank Supports Access with Generous Donations

Steve Sasaki of Advanced Air Systems, maker of Powertank, is a long-time supporter of Cal4, the Rubicon Trail and access in general.  He wanted to sponsor Del Albright with a new version of the awesome Powertank, so Dennis Mayer was the lucky recipient of Del's trail-tested, slightly used,  Powertank.  Steve had previously donated the first Powertank to Del's land use, access and BlueRibbon Coalition efforts.  Del also serves as the State Environmental Affairs Coordinator for CA4WDC.

Dennis serves as the Treasurer of the recently formed Rubicon Trail Foundation, and is a very active member of the Friends of the Rubicon (FOTR).  Dennis works tirelessly in helping to save the Rubicon.    Bruce Wade of Roundeyes.com facilitated the swap as Bruce works with and knows both Dennis and Del.  Bruce is also very active in the Friends of the Rubicon and is helping Del with the total rebuild of his Jeep.  Roundeyes.com is a staunch supporter of the efforts of FOTR and the Rubicon Trail Foundation.  Bruce suggested that Dennis receive the Powertank as he currently has no on-board air and is on the trail a lot.  Dennis will make good use of the Powertank.
