Death Valley Daze 2004 Four-Wheeling Adventure
Page 2

An adventurer, Gareth Hilborn, Motherlode Rockcrawlers, makes a determined climb to see what's in this old loading chute/sorter at the Mayflower Mine.

The Inyo Mine of Echo Canyon still has more than enough artifacts to make the trip extremely interesting.

This winch drum in the Mayflower Mine complex probably carried its share of gold (and perhaps miners).

The inevitable, but fun, Scout repair job (a litte welding was necessary to get back on the road). See more fixes.

Unexpectedly, sometimes you get desert sunsets like this one from the Panamint Valley area.

Death Valley's most popular canyon, Titus Canyon, is easily negotiated in an SUV and is well worth the trip.

The old deserted mining town connected to the Tucki Mine, on Tucki Mountain, still has neat buildings to explore and photograph.

Pleasantly serene, this old town from the Tucki Mine era still beckons the four-wheeling adventurer (and his dog "Mike").
