Lined up for our trail ride, these buggies made an impressive sight along side the highway. But then again, there weren't many people on the highway in this back country area.....what a great place.

Ty Newman's moose buggy on a trailer....52 inch tires. What a great ride too.....smooth and comfortable. And we didn't get mud on us.

This moose buggy is rigged with gin poles to lift and dress moose in the field. Dianne Fox's buggy.

Lunch stop on the trail ride provided some spectacular views.

Wide open spaces and tundra like vegetation.....awesome!

I tired to bring Ty's buggy home, but I could hardly get up in the darn thing! (Photo by Stacie Dominick)

Mud and bogs are just part of the wheeling in Alaska....these buggies like Dianne's handle it well.

These buggies are called moose buggies...literally for moose hunting. Tires were 48" to 52" tall. AWESOME wheelers. Yes, they have a lot of mud and bogs up there. It's just the way the land is laid out. But what scenery!!
